Week 3 Of the ORC and It's a Slow Process

This week is a slow week. Mostly because sickness has taken over our household ( not Covid, thank God!!) I was able to work on some simple cosmetic things so I thought I'd highlight them this week. This week is all about the textiles and my favorite textile company Spoonflower is my go to for all things fabric!! I just happen to be a Spoonflower Ambassador so make sure you keep scrolling down for a discount code to use.

So the one thing I wanted to challenge myself to do is to make my own outdoor pillows. Using Spoonflowers Recycled Canvas is the perfect choice for outdoor material. Recycled Canvas is a woven canvas featuring REPREVE® recycled polyester suitable for seasonal outdoor use. It washes well and can hold up to the elements. This beautiful print is called

Multi Citrus Grove Gold and White from Danika Herrick

Spoonflower also has a home decor line and I had a table runner made for my table. This color I thought complimented the pillows and gave this space the additional pop of color. This print is called

Bohemian Orange from Lucia Fontes

Lastly, I added a great outdoor rug from my friends over at Ruggable. This is from their outdoor rug line and I love how these washable rugs are easy to clean simply by putting them in the wash and laying them right back down. You can find their full line of outdoor rugs here

So there you have it! Next week I hope to have the new gazebo up with seating. Hopefully I'll be in better health and have the energy to get more done- Wish me luck!! Oh, by the way, make sure to check all all of the goodness that's happening over at the One Room Challenge with all of the guest participants and thanks again to Apartment Therapy for all of the support! If you want to get some amazing textiles, head over to Spoonflower and use my code "MOCHAGIRL20" at checkout.

Until Next Time,
