Week Two Of the One Room Challenge

Week 2 of the ORC is pretty basic. Nailing down all the things I want to incorporate in this space, curating the right sizes and making sure I take my time to properly measure everything. Over the weekend, my husband started with our banquette seating.
A lot of 2x4s will be used to make this seating along with plywood. We're really just winging it at this point because it's our first time making something like this but that's the beauty of DIY. Creating something from nothing is such a great feeling because you used your 2 hands to create it!
Some adjustments will be made, but overall I think we're off to a great start. I'm fortunate to be able to partner with Kichler Lighting to make my kitchenette beautiful. Here is my moodboard that roughly gives an overview of my vision.
